Raya greetings usually arrive as a card in an envelope. For Kid Noise Sdn Bhd, we turned that envelope into an augmented reality experience: point a phone at it and animated characters come to life on screen.
Client: Kids Noise Sdn Bhd
Users: Children and families receiving the Eidul Fitri envelope
Services: AR development
Delivered: A mobile AR app that brings the printed Eidul Fitri envelope to life
Tech: Vuforia, running on Android phones

The idea
Eidul Fitri is a time for giving and greeting, and the envelope is part of the tradition. Kid Noise wanted that familiar object to do more: to entertain children and to carry their characters into the celebration.
The envelope itself became the trigger. There is nothing extra to scan and no separate code to type in.
What we built
01
The envelope as a marker
Using Vuforia, the app recognises the printed envelope through the phone camera and locks the animation onto it.
02
Animated characters
Once the envelope is recognised, animated 3D characters appear on screen, dressed for Raya, and play over the real envelope.
03
Simple controls for children
Large, bright buttons for settings, back and home keep the interface easy for small hands.
The result
The AR Eidul Fitri Envelope was delivered as a working Android app: the printed envelope, the phone and the characters, all working together.
What this shows
AR works best when it makes something people already have more fun to use. A printed envelope is something families already hand to each other; the AR adds a reason for a child to hold it up and watch.
