How We Work
A clear path from stuck to delivered.
Every rescue starts the same way: we find out what’s really going on before anyone commits to anything. No surprises, no open-ended bills.
Step by step
The rescue process
Four steps, and you decide at each one whether to continue.
01
Free assessment
Tell us about the project. We review what exists (code, hardware, documents, and what was originally promised) and get a clear picture of where things stand.
02
Diagnosis & proposal
We explain what’s broken, what’s salvageable and what’s missing, then propose a fix: a targeted patch, or a systemic solution if the problem runs deeper. You get a clear scope, timeline and quote.
03
The fix
Once you approve the proposal and the deposit is in, we get to work, with regular check-ins so you always know where things stand.
04
Handover
We deliver the working result with documentation and a walkthrough, so your team can run it and the project doesn’t stall again.
Ways to work with us
Pick the level of involvement that suits your team.
We fix it for you
The full rescue. We take over the problem, fix it and hand back a working project. Best when your team is stretched or the project has been stuck for a long time.
Advisory
We analyse the problem and propose the solution; your own team does the work while we oversee and share our technical experience. Common for research and prototyping projects. We can step in and take over at any point.
Training
Hands-on training for your developers in AR/VR and Unity development: the fastest, most efficient way to build, and the mistakes to avoid.
What we’ll ask for
The more we can see, the faster and more accurate the assessment. Don’t worry if you don’t have everything.
- The original brief or requirements
- Source code, project files and repositories
- Any documentation, diagrams or wiring plans
- Hardware details, or access to the setup
- What’s working, what isn’t, and what you’ve already tried
- Your deadline, and what “done” means to you
Common questions
Will you keep our project confidential?
Yes. Most rescue clients prefer not to be named, and we respect that by default. We never publish client names or details without permission, and we’re happy to sign an NDA before the assessment.
Can you work with code or systems someone else built?
That’s most of what we do. Nearly every rescue involves picking up work started by another team or vendor, often with little or no documentation.
Do we have to start over?
Usually not. We keep what works and fix or rebuild only what’s needed. Sometimes a targeted patch is enough; when the problem is deeper, we’ll explain why a larger fix is worth it.
How much does a rescue cost?
It depends on the project, which is why the assessment comes first. After it, you get a fixed scope and quote before any paid work begins, so you know the cost up front.
How long does it take?
It varies with the size of the problem. Our fastest full rescue took 3 months. You’ll get a realistic timeline as part of the proposal.
What kinds of projects do you take on?
Software, hardware and system integration, and AR/VR projects, especially ones built in Unity or that connect software to devices, sensors, PLCs or networks.
